How to use it
- Clues: fun facts starts with a fact ("a Wimbledon champion is from here"), then a second and third, then the capital, then the flag. Five points if they get it on the first clue, down to one on the flag.
- Clues: geography uses the continent, borders and coastline, then the first letter of the capital, then the capital, then the flag.
- After a wrong click the class hears the distance to the answer and the direction, and the clicked country is coloured: orange means within 1,500 km, pale orange within 4,000 km, grey further away.
- Find the country just names it. Outline shows the country's shape and asks where it is. Use the zoom buttons for Europe, where the countries are small on a world map; scroll to zoom anywhere and drag to pan.
Keys: N new country, R reveal, F full screen. Micro-states such as Malta, Singapore and the Caribbean islands are too small to click on this map, so they are left out. Map data from Natural Earth (public domain).
